Dear Future Author,
Got a book inside of you? I’ve sold over a quarter of a million non-fiction books in the US, Korea, England, Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands. I have coached four authors who are published or about to be published including books about: * a woman's experience with breast cancer and how it helped her overcome perfectionism * a guide for organizing and moving into your first home * a book for mid-life women with ADD * an e-book for people who want to get their homes organized step by step. Book Coaching is convenient -- no travel, no traffic, no expensive gas costs! I work by email and phone (or, if you prefer, in-person) and specialize in non-fiction. Let me teach you what I know. Together let’s get that book out of you and into the world!
Here is what I can help you do:
Resolve whether to publish traditionally, self-publish, or use a subsidy publisher
Research publishers and book agents
Help you write queries and book proposals
Clarify your book concept, scope and focus including:
Outline the contents Organize your thoughts, ideas, notes, research, drafts and writing material Hold you accountable for writing on a schedule Receive honest feedback about your writing and pointers to improve it* Obtain resources like proofreaders, editors, cover designers, and book printers Target your market and develop a marketing plan Break through the tough spots Help develop your book’s title Determine the format (hardcopy book? e-book?) Generate design ideas for the cover, internal text, mix of text and graphics, etc.)
Book Coaching is economically priced by the hour with no contract, giving you great flexibility to fit book coaching into your budget and schedule. The cost is $90.00/hr (1 hr. min). In-between coaching sessions, we can communicate by brief emails. Book coaching is designed to fit your unique needs whether it is taking a book project from beginning to end, dealing with a particular phase of the book project, or just whenever you hit an obstacle. Please fill out a contact form or call 404-231-6172 with your questions, comments or concerns, or better yet, to set up your first book coaching session!
