WANT TO GET ORGANIZED IN THE ERA OF ENDLESS INFORMATION, INTERRUPTION, WORK AND STUFF?

The Australasia Association of Professional Organizers (AAPO) is hosting the organizing industry’s most noted thought-leader, Judith Kolberg. “We live in the era of endless; confronted by infinite information, incessant interruptions, constant distractions, unending work, and unbounded stuff. All this ‘endlessness’ butts up against the one thing that remains intractably finite: time”, notes Kolberg. Her powerful keynote address on 2 August and practical skills workshop on 3 August at the AAPO conference teach the new organizing skills for the Era of Endless including:

* Dealing with FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)

* Coping with Information Turn-On

* Understanding Potential/Opportunity/Possibility or POP – The New Interruption

* Mastering Closure

* Cashing In on Your Leisure Dividend

* De-Acquiring Stuff

Known for her humorous delivery and cutting-edge thinking, Kolberg is a popular international speaker. She has just published her fifth book, Getting Organized in the Era of Endless: What To Do When Information, Interruption, Work and Stuff is Endless But Time is Not (Squall Press, 2013). Kolberg pioneered the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization, the precursor to the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (www.challengingdisorganization), is a long-standing member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (www.napo.net) and is the recipient of the industry’s highest honors.
